The Egyptian-Canadian Coalition for Democracy (ECCD) and the Center for Egyptian American Relations (CEAR) are organizing a virtual conference to commemorate the Egyptian revolution that took place in Egypt starting January 25 2011 and ushered in a fledgling democratic system. Unfortunately, ten years later, we find that Egyptians are enduring the worst period of human rights violations under Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The virtual panel discussion, entitled 'Ten thousand Giulio Regeni - The Many Victims of El-Sisi's Terror' to take place, Sunday, January 24, 2021 starting at 1:00 PM EST/ 11 AM MST / 10 AM PST.
Panelists will include:
