Organisation

The National Association of Women’s Organizations in Uganda (NAWOU) is an umbrella of women-founded and women-led organizations at District, regional and national level. NAWOU exists to promote the growth of a strong women’s movement and to harness the collectiveness, intellect, experiences and voice of women, their organisations and networks to promote gender equality. NAWOU would like to see a society where women are self- reliant and free from injustice.
