El Índice de Coherencia de Políticas para el Desarrollo Sostenible (ICPDS) es una herramienta que evalúa y compara el compromiso de los países con un desarrollo sostenible. Nace con el objetivo de ofrecer una alternativa a la hegemónica y limitada visión de los indicadores que habitualmente se usan para medir el progreso, especialmente el Producto Interior Bruto (PIB). El progreso de un país solo es progreso si es a la vez compatible con el de otros países y con el del conjunto del planeta.
