Equidad promotes equality between women and men in Mexico. For over 20 years, we have strengthened women’s civic participation and leadership by advocating for gender mainstreaming in public policies. We are members of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC). We coordinate the Women’s Major Group providing follow-up to the sustainable development agenda, and are part of the Advisor Group of the Civil Society of UN Women Mexico, among other stages.
