Solidarity Economy Praxis Panel - Building Stronger SE EcosystemsActivity Date: Tuesday, May 3, 2022 - 20:00 UTCDuration: 90 minBrief Description:
The Panel Session will bring together both practitioners and scholars to discuss specific cases of SE ecosystems. Presenters from Brazil, Mexico, Canada, and the US will share how they are developing solidarity economies. Audience members will then be invited to be in dialogue with each other to explore how these examples resonate with their own communities and experiences. From this, the group will identify 5-6 collective actions that can be developed in the coming year through further collaboration and conversation, with a particular interest in how grassroots organizers and academic organizations might work together more effectively.
