On the 50th anniversary of Salvador Allende's speech about corporate power on the UN Assembly; this panel discusses the challenges of ensuring corporate accountability and problematises the different mechanisms that companies use to avoid responsibility for their human rights and environmental impacts. Using case studies from Palestine and the Latin American region, it presents a preview of a toolkit to address harmful corporate strategies and discusses advocacy trajectories, including a legally binding Treaty with a feminist perspective, to overcome corporate state capture and other governance gaps.
